Went out on R.P. attached to 2/7 as reserve platoon. They do themselves well. They gave me another breakfast. The C.O. brought out his lilo and they usually take out darts and a pack of cards, 7101 was fired on going up, and coming down about 100 shots were let off at it and HQ. I missed all that. There were supposed to have been 300 dushmen reported by Alexandria picquet the day before. I go out on rifleman’s range today – I put up some tins by the nullah bank and let off my revolver on them.
