September 5th 1941

I sit about all day in Penton’s office and do an hour’s bugger all. Raining today, and continual thunderstorms. The Lysanders were unable to land as it was too wet, so went to Dehra Ghazi Khan. They now have to get the petrol shifted across the Indus to D.G.K. I study A.P. 1176 “Army Cooperation”. Suffering from a kind of foot rot and cut cuticle combined, and go about in one stocking and two chapplies.
