January 14th 1944


Tomorrow I go out on another scheme called “Wynead”. Last night Jo Sellars gives a farewell party before going to Staff College and we have pretty good one. Gordon Grieve, who speaks gibberish at everyone, meets his match in me. Today there is a dance at the Residency and Paratt, the Wren ‘Babes’ and Betty Jones are going. But Babes not yet here…
