May 31st 1944 – Hawarden

Bishop and i do not go in so I walk up with the Canadian to Hawarden for a beer in the local pub.

Two Sgt Pilots in an Oxford fail to find Cosford (for my E.N.T. appointment) and after circling Wolverhampton for half an hour we return, and now I can get no appointment until 6th June. What to do in the meantime.

An all ranks dance last night and I get tacked on to this Celia dame and have to walk her home to Hawarden Castle in the middle of the night where the WAAF officers live. A sexless dame. I beat the pants off the G/C, Alloway, at aquash.
